TOTEM Foundation Mentor/Mentee Terms of Service

Definitions
The “Applicant” is the individual completing the Mentor/Mentee application. A “Mentor” is defined as an individual who has attended and camped overnight at the festival at least one time. A “Mentee” is defined as someone who has never attended the festival. “Participant” refers to both mentors and mentees.

Ticket Requirement
All Applicants and Participants (both Mentors and Mentees) are required to have independently purchased a valid ticket to the 2026 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival prior to participating in the program. The TOTEM Foundation does not provide festival admission.

Assumption of Risk
The Applicant acknowledges that participation in an overnight music festival involves inherent risks and voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation in the program and the festival.

Indemnification
The Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the TOTEM Foundation, Roo Bus, and any and all affiliated or unaffiliated organizations, whether nonprofit or for-profit, including but not limited to festivals and events, and their respective officers, officials, employees, board members, volunteers, contractors, and agents, from and against any and all claims, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this program.

No Compensation
No payment or purchase is necessary to apply to be a Mentor or Mentee. Participation in the program is voluntary, and there is no monetary compensation or material benefit provided.

Program Context
The Applicant acknowledges that they are applying to a mentor/mentee program associated with an overnight music festival to be held in Tennessee, United States, scheduled for June 11–14, 2026, with camping dates of June 10–15, 2026.

Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age on or before June 10, 2026.

Selection Process
The Applicant understands that submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Not all Applicants will be chosen to participate, and all decisions made by the TOTEM Foundation are final.

Travel & Expenses
Participants are solely responsible for organizing and covering their own travel, lodging (including camping arrangements), and any other expenses related to attending the festival.

Media Release
The Applicant and Participant grant the TOTEM Foundation, Roo Bus, and associated organizations and entities permission to use their likeness in photographs, videos, and other media for promotional and documentation purposes without compensation.

Participant Conduct & Responsibility

Compliance with Laws & Festival Policies
Participants agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, as well as all festival rules, policies, and codes of conduct. Failure to do so may result in removal from the program.

Application Standards
Applications that are incomplete, late, or fail to follow instructions may not be reviewed. Each individual may submit only one application.
